At the Flemish Peace Institute, Merel Selleslach will work on the further development of the overarching peace in foreign policy line. In doing so, she will conduct research and strengthen cooperation with other European peace institutes, and work on reaching a wider audience around the peace theme.
Merel studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of Antwerp (UA) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Afterwards, she did movement work for Pax Christi where she focused on disarmament (nuclear weapons and autonomous weapons systems) and peaceful alternatives to international conflict.
