How can I loan a publication from the Peace Institute’s library?

Everyone can consult the Peace Institute’s collection in the Flemish Parliament’s Parliamentary Information Centre. To this end you need to register as a visitor at the visitor’s desk at Leuvenseweg 86, 1000 Brussels. There you will be provided with a visitor’s badge and you will be directed towards the library.

However you cannot loan books as easily as in a municipal library. Only staffers of MPs and political groups, as well as Parliamentary staffers can loan publications directly.

Other researchers, students and third parties should use Inter-library loaning traffic (Interbibliothecair Leenverkeer). This means that you can request the loan of the books of your choice through your own municipal or university library. These will then be sent to the library of your choice, after which you can loan these publications from the library in question.
