With the concept of “Resilient Peace”, the Flemish Peace Institute aims to transcend the dichotomy in public debate between advocates of investment in our armed forces on the one hand and critical voices on the other. This is necessary because the problems we face are more complex than the threat of military aggression.

This annual report looks back on 2024. It also includes four double interviews with our researchers, who help to broaden the perspective on “Resilient Peace”.
