Louise Macours (b. 1999) works as a research assistant at the Flemish Peace Institute. She supports projects focusing on firearms and radicalisation, and also contributes to the practical and administrative support of the Institute’s public information activities. Louise studied at Ghent University, where she obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communication Sciences, as well as a master’s degree in Conflict and Development Studies. After completing her studies, she undertook an internship at the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) in Brussels, before joining the Flemish Peace Institute in July 2025.
