Seminar IAI: The war in Ukraine and the future of non-proliferation and arms control in the European continent

This event, organised by IAI (the Instuti Affari Internazionali), aims to examine the impact of the war in Ukraine on the security architecture in Europe and the policies needed to rebuild a strategic balance through a credible deterrence posture and the establishment of new regimes or arrangements on arms control and confidence and security building measures. The seminar will focus on EU non-proliferation and arms control strategies within the broader EU security strategy. Our director Nils Duquet will elaborate on how arms control initiatives will be crucial for peace in Ukraine.
