At the conference ‘The impact of global firearm control regimes on reducing armed violence’ at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Nils Duquet will present the recently developed firearms incidents monitor. This monitor is publicly accessible via Gunviolence.eu. He will provide an overview of the main characteristics of firearm violence in the European Union in 2023 and discuss ways Gunviolence.eu can improve data collection to enable detailed impact assessments of gun control efforts in the future.
