Ypres City of Peace, the Flemish Peace Institute and the In Flanders Fields Museum have the pleasure to invite you to the November Lecture on Sunday 10 November 2024 in commemoration of the end of the First World War.

Registration is only possible via the entry form at the bottom of this page. The lecture will, once given, be available to re-read and rewatch on this page from 11 November at 11am.

PROGRAM

Dr Olivia Umurerwa Rutazibwa is a Belgian-Rwandan academic in International Relations and former journalist. She is Assistant Professor of Human Rights and Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Senior Research Fellow at the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Studies (JIAS). With a PhD in Political Science from Ghent University, her research focuses on decolonising (international) solidarity.

His captivating narrative will be supported musically  by Sara Salvérius
